Indonesia's ban on palm oil exports has alarmed global edible oils markets that have already hit record high prices in 2022. Palm oil is the world's most widely used vegetable oil. Indonesia is the top producer, exporter and consumer of palm oil, accounting for around 60% of total supply.

Fuel prices remained stagnant for the 19th day in a row on April 25. The last revision was reported on April 6 by 80 paise a litre each when the rates of petrol and diesel have increased by Rs 10 per litre each via 14 revisions. Petrol in Delhi costs Rs 105.41 per litre and diesel Rs 96.67 per litre, as per the prices notification of fuel retailers.

Lithium primarily used to produce lithium-ion batteries and pharmaceuticals and industrial lubricants has been in high demand shortly. The Benchmark Mineral Intelligence points out that its price has zoomed 280% during the previous year.
