Brent crude futures fell 8 cents, or 0.1%, to $66.03 a barrel by 0058 GMT, following a 1.1% rise on Friday. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were down 4 cents, or 0.1%, at $62.10 a barrel, after rising 1.2 per cent on Friday.

The field is located about 60 km from the existing onshore terminal at Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh in water depths of up to 1,850 meters. It will produce gas from four reservoirs and is expected to reach gas production of up to 6 mmscmd.

Crude steel production rose 19% YoY (7% MoM) to 9.7 mt in March. Steel consumption grew 41% YoY to 8.74 MT. However, it declined 6% MoM in April as companies looked to exports to benefit from strong global steel prices.
