SpiceJet is investigating allegations of pilferage and broken baggage locks of passengers on its March 11 flight SG178 from Dubai to Delhi. The move comes after a video started making the rounds of social media platforms, showing passengers standing by the luggage carousel at Delhi airport to collect their checked-in baggage, and complaining of contents of their bags missing.

ICRA on March 15 estimated that the GST compensation required by state govts for FY22 could be between Rs 2.7 trillion and Rs 3 trillion and the shortfall in cess collections would be Rs 1.6-2 trillion. The states’ enhanced borrowing limit for FY2022 at Rs 2.2 trillion. There may need to utilise as much as 70-90% of their enhanced borrowing limits for FY2022 to meet the shortfall.

Gold in New Delhi increased by Rs 61 to Rs 44,364 per 10 grams on Monday, according to HDFC Securities. In the previous closing, the yellow metal had traded at Rs 44,303 per 10 grams. Silver also gained Rs 162 to Rs 66,338 per kilogram from Rs 66,176 in the previous trade. In the international market, gold was trading marginally lower at $1,726 per ounce and silver was flat at $25.95 per ounce.

Century Enka share price gained on March 15 after the company's board approved a proposal to dispose of leasehold land at Mahad Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation. RITES board of directors announced a second interim dividend of Rs4 per share on the share with a face value of Rs10 each for the financial year FY21. Also, the company commenced the export shipments to Sri Lanka and Mozambique. The record date for payment of the dividend is 20th March 2021. The second interim dividend brings the company’s total dividend for FY21 so far, to Rs9 per share.
