SBI says the program draws on its extensive training experience, referencing a learning ecosystem that includes more than 400 practicing bankers, six specialized training institutes, and a repository of over 25,000 digital lessons, case studies, articles, and videos. The partnership aims to translate this institutional expertise into accessible online content for a broader audience.
Among the offered courses, “AI and Generative AI for Business Automation” is targeted at business professionals, managers, and entrepreneurs, emphasizing the practical adoption of artificial intelligence to automate workflows and boost productivity. No prior coding or technical expertise is required, making the course accessible to a wider audience. Through practical examples and real-world use cases, the course explains how responsible AI adoption can transform business functions.
Another key offering, “Applications of Agentic AI in Banking,” introduces learners to the evolving role of autonomous AI agents specifically within banking. The registration for this course will open on September 25, 2026, and remain available until March 31, 2027.
For those interested in digital skills, the “Content Marketing Strategy” course provides foundational training in content creation and digital marketing tools, focusing on techniques to attract, engage, and retain customers online. With a nod to India’s agricultural sector, “Agri E-Commerce: From Farm to Global Market” explores how farmers, cooperatives, and agri-entrepreneurs can leverage online platforms to expand market reach, access global demand, and secure better pricing for their products. It addresses the growing trend of digital transformation in agri-business.
Additionally, the “Introduction to Behavioural Finance” course unpacks the psychological factors influencing financial decision-making. It covers cognitive and emotional biases, self-deception, and their collective impact on financial markets, using real examples and case studies.
SBI stated that all courses can be audited for free, meaning learners access the instructional content without cost. A paid option for a verified certificate exists for those who wish to obtain official recognition of course completion. This paywall only applies to certification and not to course material.
The move by SBI comes as part of a broader push among Indian organizations and educational institutions to address evolving employment patterns and lifelong learning needs. By offering practical, up-to-date content rooted in real industry experience, SBI seeks to support career-oriented learners as they build skills for the future economy.
