Oil prices surge on mounting supply concerns

Oil prices continue to climb due to weak shale output from the US, and production cuts by Saudi Arabia and Russia. Both benchmarks have reached their highest points in a year, however uncertainty over demand (particularly in China) and central bank decisions are cause for concern. Those factors coupled with Monday's lowered outlook from the Aramco CEO could lead to a correction.
