ITC plans to invest Rs 20,000 crore over the next five years to enhance competitiveness and prepare for future opportunities. The capital allocation plan includes 35-40% for FMCG, 35% for paper boards and packaging, and the rest for other businesses. The investment will also fund a new greenfield site for paper boards and packaging, expanding the business in a modular fashion.
