ITC mulls ‘alternate structuring’ for value creation in hotels business

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) on April 19 reported 33% jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 337 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024. It reported net profit of Rs 254 crore in the year-ago period. IREDA's credit quality improved as GNPA reduced to 2.36% from 3.21% YoY and NNPA down to 0.99% from 1.66% YoY.

Oil slipped on Friday following an earlier price spike of more than $3 after Iran played down reported Israeli attacks on its soil, in a sign that an escalation of hostilities in the Middle East might be avoided. Brent futures were down 48 cents, or 0.6%, at $86.63 a barrel by 1155 GMT. The most active U.S. West Texas Intermediate contract was down 38 cents, or 0.5%, to $82.35.
