Hero MotoCorp hikes two-wheeler prices by up to Rs 3,000 from July 1

Hero MotoCorp announced on Thursday that it raising the prices of motorcycles and scooters by up to Rs 3,000 from July 1. The two-wheeler maker took this decision to partially offset the steadily growing overall cost inflation, including commodity prices. The company reported in its regulatory filings that "The exact quantum of increase will be subject to the specific model and market".

The facility by the state-run Company is already witnessing a delay of almost 7 years. Notably, NMDC spent Rs 20,240 cr as of May 2022 for the plant. The state-run firm is likely to spend another Rs 1,700 cr, and the project reported a cost overrun of around Rs 7,000 cr.
