Havells India's Q2FY25 earnings report disappointed brokerages due to margins missing expectations, despite a 16% revenue growth and 9.5% net profit increase. Margins suffered from commodity price volatility and high advertising spending, with EBIT margin dipping to 9.9%. Brokerages like Nomura, Jefferies, and Investec maintained a neutral call and slashed target prices.
