Mumbai: Delivery-based volumes in various large-cap stocks have spiked of late in the wake of the resurgence in foreign fund inflows and the Bharatiya Janata Party's strong performance in the recent state elections. A surge in such volumes is an indication of higher interest among serious buyers.In the past three trading sessions, an average of ₹18,000 crore worth of 50 stocks.

In a rare case, Karnataka's real estate regulator has ordered homebuyers to take over a delayed luxury villa project from the developer and complete the construction. Invoking section 8 of the RERA Act, which allows resident welfare associations to take over a project, the KRERA noted that the developer, LGCL Urban Homes LLP, has failed to hand over possession even after 10 years.
