Cognizant reports 2.3% YoY dip in revenue in December quarter

Cognizant posted a revenue decline of 2.3% to $4.2 billion year-on-year for the quarter ending December 2020. Net income was down to $316 million in Q4 FY20 from $395 million for the same quarter last year. Cognizant follows the calendar year for its fiscal. The company reported a 24% drop to $1,329 million YoY in net profit for the year ended December 2020.

Adarsh Mahila Co-operative Bank was penalised as the bank had sanctioned a loan where a relative of one of the directors of the bank was interested.

The Union Cabinet on February 29 approved the proposal to fix the NBS rates for kharif season, 2024 (from 01.04.2024 to 30.09.2024) on Phosphatic and Potassic (P&K) fertilizers and inclusion of 3 new fertilizer grades under NBS scheme. The tentative budgetary requirement for Kharif season 2024 would be approximately Rs.24,420 crore, announced Union Minister Anurag Thakur.
