Godrej Appliances plans to launch in January a -70 degree Celsius ultra-low temperature freezer for storing vaccines. “We are preparing ourselves for -70 (degree Celsius) freezers also, in case the requirement comes in domestically. After we launch the freezers in January, we will start applying for any tenders,"Kamal Nandi, the company’s business head and executive vice-president, said.

Car marketplace Cars24, which recently entered the unicorn club, doubled its revenue in the financial year 2020. The Gurugram-based company recorded consolidated revenue of INR 3,056 Cr in FY2020, compared to INR 1,687 Cr recorded in the previous year. About 98% of the company’s revenue has come from sale of products, which nearly doubled from INR 1,650 Cr to INR 2,966 Cr in the year.

Nissan on Wednesday said it will hike prices of its vehicles in India by up to 5% across models from next month to offset increased costs. The revised prices will be applicable across all available models for Nissan and Datsun, effective January 2021. Piaggio India on Wednesday unveiled its premium scooter Aprilia SXR 160 priced at Rs 1.26 lakh.
