Route Mobile Limited today announced a contract win with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), to deploy its SMS Firewall Platform across the Southern and Western Zones in India. Route Mobile will provide enhanced control and security over BSNL user's SMS traffic, subscriber protection and the monetisation of SMS traffic terminating over their network.

JSW Cement arm Shiva Cement on Wednesday said it will invest over Rs 1,500 crore to set up a clinker unit at Sundergarh in Odisha. The plant will have an annual capacity of 1.36 million tonne, the company said in a regulatory filing. This project also includes setting up of a 1 MTPA grinding unit; 8 MW waste heat recovery power plant; 4 MTPA crushing plants at its dolomite and limestone mines.

Shares of Lakshmi Vilas Bank (LVB) looked up for the first time in seven sessions on Wednesday, after ET Now reported that the Cabinet has approved the lender’s merger plan with DBS India. In reaction, the LVB shares reversed early losses, and rose 2.05 per cent at Rs 7.45, while benchmark Sensex was down 0.40 per cent at 44,343.98 points.

Mortgage lender HDFC Ltd on Wednesday said it will acquire nearly 20 percent stake in Renaissance Investment Solutions ARC (asset reconstruction company) Private Ltd for Rs 49.8 lakh. HDFC Ltd on Wednesday entered into agreements for investment in Renaissance Investment Solutions ARC Private Limited, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Till November 24, FIIs have bought equities worth Rs 50,501.07 crore and on Tuesday they bought equities worth Rs 4,563.18 crore. They have pumped in approximately Rs 50,989 crore in November itself and have invested approximately Rs 1.31 lakh crore in India year to date.

The BSE followed the National Stock Exchange suit and terminated the brokerage membership of Karvy Stock Broking with effect from Tuesday. The leading stock exchange said investors having any outstanding claims against the brokerage can file their claims with the exchange within 90 days from the date of issue of the notice (by February 22, 2021).

Ingersoll-Rand’s offer for sale (OFS) was subscribed 2.7 times by non-retail investors on Tuesday. The OFS opens for retail investors on Wednesday. Bids for a total of over 3.5 million shares were received for an offer size of 1.28 million shares for non-retail investors. The floor price for the OFS was set at Rs 578.60 per share, a 12% discount to the stock’s closing price of Rs 657.5 on Monday.

Coal India (CIL) will set up 14 rooftop and ground-mounted solar power projects of 3,000 MW (3 GW) capacity worth Rs 5,650 crore by 2023-24. This is part of its goal to become a net-zero carbon company, it told the exchanges on November 23. Of the Rs 5,650 crore investment, Rs 3,650 crore is planned from CIL’s capex till 2023-24, while the rest will be funded through joint venture models.

Edible oil firm Ruchi Soya Industries, which is owned by Patanjali Ayurved, on Tuesday, informed bourses that it has sold the shares of its subsidiary Ruchi Worldwide to Sanatan Multi Skill Development and Education for Rs 100. The sale of the unit is as per the court-approved resolution plan. The company said Ruchi Worldwide's net worth was negative Rs 1,009.68 crore as on March 31, 2019.
