Boeing agreed to acquire Spirit AeroSystems for over $4 billion in an all-stock deal, paying $37.25 per share, to help address its safety crisis. The acquisition values Spirit at around $4.7 billion and is subject to regulatory approvals. The deal will result in the breakup of Spirit, with some assets going to Airbus. The purchase is part of Boeing's effort to reform its safety problems.

MOIL Ltd., a state-owned manganese ore mining company, has revised its prices effective July 1, 2024. Prices of ferro grades with 44%+ manganese content have increased by 2%, while those with lower manganese content have decreased by 8%. Silico manganese grades, fines, and chemical grades have also seen an 8% price drop. The basic price of electrolytic manganese dioxide remains at ₹210,000 PMT.
