Indian visa of foreign nationals stranded in India extended till August 31

The Ministry of Home Affairs announced that the Indian visa of foreign nationals stranded in India will be considered as deemed to be valid till August 31, 2021, on a gratis basis without levy of any overstay penalty. Due to the non-availability of normal commercial flight operations, several foreign nationals who came to India before March 2020 on valid Indian visas had got stranded in India.
