JSW Infrastructure Ltd's shares traded marginally higher after its subsidiary signed a concession agreement with VO Chidambaranar Port Authority to develop and mechanize a cargo berth, with a capacity of 7 million tonnes per annum, on a design, build, finance, operate, and transfer basis. The project is expected to enhance the company's operational capabilities.

Hindenburg, an American researcher and short-seller, has accused India's capital market regulator SEBI of being soft on local corporate biggies, including Adani Group, and threatened to invoke the RTI law to obtain details of SEBI's meetings with Adani officials. Hindenburg's report in January 2023 accused Adani of price manipulation and accounting fraud, leading to a slump in stock prices.
