A nine-year-old boy has made nearly $30m in a year from “unboxing” and reviewing toys and games on YouTube to hold the title of highest-paid YouTuber for the third year running. Ryan Kaji, from Texas, made $29.5m (£22m) from his YouTube channel Ryan’s World, as well as a further estimated $200m from Ryan’s World branded toys and clothing, including Marks & Spencer pyjamas.

Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL)stopped production at its Greater Noida unit. The automobile company consolidated all production at the Alwar plant in Rajasthan due to the current market situation. Most workers at the Greater Noida plant have either taken VRS or have been transferred to Alwar. The company reported monthly domestic sales of 9,990 units in November, as against 6,459 units in Nov 2019.

IndiaGrid Trust has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% stakes in FRV Andhra Pradesh Solar Farm-I Pvt Ltd and FRV India Solar Park II – Pvt Ltd from FRV Solar Holdings XI B.V., it said on Friday. IndiGrid, an infrastructure investment trust (InvIT), is making the acquisition at an enterprise value of ₹660 crore. The two projects comprise of 50 MW of solar assets each.

Apple Inc. on Saturday said that it has found evidence of violations against its contract manufacturer Wistron in India and has put the latter on probation. Apple had launched an investigation into the incident of violence at Wistron’s Kolar plant in Karnataka on 12 December, after unpaid contract employees went on a rampage, destroying property and large-scale loot of iPhones.

Oberoi Realty has bought out Sahana Group’s 50 percent stake in the under construction 221-key five-star hotel in Mumbai’s Worli area for Rs 1,040 crore. The luxury property was acquired through Oberoi’s subsidiary Evenstar Hotels from Oasis Realty in which Sahana Group’s Sudhakar Shetty held 50 percent stake, The Economic Times reported.

Auto component maker Craftsman Automation has filed preliminary papers with capital markets watchdog SEBI to float an initial share-sale. The IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to Rs 150 crore and an offer for sale of up to 45,21,450 shares by promoter and existing shareholders, draft red herring prospectus filed with SEBI showed.

Hyderabad-based precision engineering solutions company MTAR Technologies has filed draft red herring prospectus with the capital market regulator Sebi for its initial public offering. The IPO consists of a fresh issuance of 40 lakh shares and an offer for sale of 82,24,270 equity shares by promoter and existing shareholders. MTAR is likely to raise approximately Rs 600-650 crore through its IPO.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday praised Tata Group for its role in India's development. Antony Waste Handling Cell bagged Rs 89.99 crore from 10 anchor investors on December 18, ahead of its issue opening. "The IPO committee of the board of directors of the company and the selling shareholders, in consultation with merchant bankers Equirus Capital and IIFL Securities, have finalised allocation of 28,57,003 equity shares to anchor investors," company said in its filing to exchange.

The Supreme Court on Friday stayed proceedings initiated against Azim Premji and his wife by a Bengaluru court on a complaint alleging breach of trust and corruption arising out of the merger of their three firms with another group company, Hasham Investment and Trading Company. A Bench led by Justice Sanjay Kaul, while issuing a notice to the complainant NGO, stayed the criminal proceedings.
