Coal India to consider interim dividend on 11th Nov, fixes record date

Coal India today informed stock exchanges that a board meeting will be held on 11th November to to consider quarterly earnings and also to consider payment of interim dividend for the year 2020-21, if any. Coal India added that the company has fixed 20th November 20 as the record date for the purpose of payment of interim dividend on equity shares for the financial year 2020-21.

Dr Lal PathLabs' Q2 net profit rises 6%, revenue up 18% YoY

Dr Lal PathLabs on November 6 posted a 6% YoY jump in Q2 FY21 consolidated net profit at Rs 85.3 crore. The company has reported a net profit of Rs 80.5 crore in Q2 FY20 and Rs 28.4 crore in Q1 FY21. A CNBC-TV18 poll had estimated profit to the tune of Rs 86 crore. Consolidated revenue for the said quarter came at Rs 431.9 crore, up 18% YoY from Rs 365.6 crore in the same period last quarter.

Voltas Q2 net profit down 25% at Rs 80 crore

The net profit of consumer appliances brand Voltas declined 25.2 percent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 80 crore in the September quarter (Q2). The consolidated total income for Q2 was Rs 1,651 crore, a YoY growth of 10 percent. Voltas said it continues to be the market leader in the room air conditioner space with a market share of 26.8 percent as of August 2020.

India Cements Q2 net profit bounces 12-fold to Rs75.38cr

India Cements reported 14.14% fall in the Sep-20 quarter top line sales revenues at Rs1089.96cr. The cement business across the country took a hit in the Jun-20 quarter but in Sep-20 it is at least back to 80% of the pre-COVID levels. For the Sep-20 quarter, the operating profits were up 110% at Rs181.53cr. This is largely on the back of lower costs pertaining to raw materials, fuel and transport.

Bank of India reported a small 3.44% rise in net income in the Sep-20 quarter in terms of top line revenues on a yoy basis at Rs12,478cr. The operating profits of the bank were up 24.9% at Rs3,099cr for the Sep-20 quarter on better cost management and lower interest costs. The operating margins of BOI were up from 20.57% in Sep-19 to 24.84% in Sep-20 quarter.
