Coal India Ltd (CIL) on Friday said its board during the March 5 meeting approved payment of a second interim dividend of Rs 5 per share of the face value of Rs 10 per equity share for 2020-21. CIL has fixed March 16 as 'Record Date' for the purpose of payment of the second interim dividend on equity shares for 2020-21. The date of payment of the interim dividend is on and from March 24.

Silverglades Group partners with multiplex operator PVR Ltd for a four-screen cinema in its mixed-use project on Laburnum Drive in Gurugram. The 4-screen cinema will come up at Silverglades' 3 lakh sq ft commercial tower, which is part of the five-acre mixed-use project 'Hightown'. The US has invoked the Defense Act, which has a sub-clause that prevents the export of critical raw materials required for local vaccine manufacturers.

Sun Pharmaceuticals Limited announced on Friday that one of its wholly-owned subsidiaries has agreed to acquire 428,571 ordinary shares (equivalent to 12.5% fully diluted equity stake) of WRS Bioproducts Pty Ltd, Australia by way of allotment to it. The company’s objective of the acquisition is the investment of AUD 2 mn in WRS Bioproducts.

The MTAR Technologies IPO is subscribed 200.62 times so far on the final day of bidding, March 5. The reserved portions for retail and non-institutional investors were subscribed 28.04 times and 650.79 times, respectively. Delhi Capitals has announced its co-owner JSW Group as the team's principal sponsor. Last year JSW Group had come in place of Daikin, the air conditioning manufacturing company, as the Indian Premier League (IPL) team's principal sponsor. Daikin had not continued its sponsorship deal with the franchise because of the new schedule of the IPL.

Reliance Jio may foray into India’s growing laptop market soon, as there are reports that JioPhone maker is currently working on the ‘JioBook’, a low-cost laptop with Android-based JioOS software and 4G connectivity. Reports dating back to 2018 have suggested Jio’s interest in launching an affordable laptop. XDA Developers is reporting that work on the ‘JioBook’ started sometime in Sept last year.
