Bodal Chemicals Limited has entered into Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) with Mawana Sugar Limited (MSL). It will help Bodal Chemicals acquire Chemical Plant known as Siel Chemical Complex (SCC) at Rajpura, Punjab.  SCC is engaged in the manufacturing of Chemical product - Caustic soda- Chlorine etc. The acquisition of the Plant is expected to get completed in the next two months.

DCW Limited announced significant operational recovery in the financial results for the quarter and 9M ended on December 31, 2020, on Tuesday. The company’s Q3FY21 revenue grew by 23% YoY. Total revenue from operations for Q3FY21 stood at Rs386cr compared to 313.69cr in Q3FY20. DCW Limited’s Q3FY21 profit after tax stood at Rs6.2cr, compared to Rs(4.03)cr in Q3FY20, a growth of 254% YoY.

Raymond Ltd announced -34.05% fall in total revenues for the Dec-20 quarter on a consolidated basis at Rs1,243.44cr. The revenues are still lower than the pre-COVID period due to the pandemic impact. However, the revenues are sharply increasing on a sequential basis. The consolidated profit after tax (PAT) for the Dec-20 quarter was down -88.9% at Rs21.69cr.

Kotak Investment Advisors (KIAL) announced the closure of its new Real Estate Fund worth around $380 million or Rs 2,770 crore. The new fund will target both early-stage and late-stage real estate projects in residential, commercial, retail, warehousing and hospitality sectors. J&K Bank registered profits for the third consecutive quarter of the current financial year despite pandemic related constraints. The Bank’s profit is up by 32.84% YoY at Rs65.94cr against Rs49.64cr recorded for the third quarter of the last financial year backed by higher Net Interest Income (NII). It's net interest income rose by 15% YoY to Rs1005.13cr from Rs874.65cr recorded in Q3-2019.

Nilkamal Ltd announced 7.42% growth in total revenues for the Q3-2020 on a consolidated basis at Rs626.59cr. Among the verticals, the core plastics business of Nilkamal saw robust YoY growth of over 10%. However, the lifestyle accessories and furnishing business actually saw revenues taper by 11% on a YoY basis. The consolidated PAT for the Dec-20 quarter was up 79.56% at Rs54.30cr.

India Gold MCX April Futures are trading flat thanks to a positive bias on February 10 tracking positive trend seen in the international spot prices. On the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX), April gold contracts were trading higher by 0.2% at Rs 48,050 for 10 grams at 0920 hours. The yellow metal has support at Rs 47750-47500 and resistance at Rs 48300-48580.

SpiceJet will announce its December quarter earnings on February 10. the budget carrier is expected that the numbers will show sequential improvement. Brokerage firm Prabhudas Lilladher forecasted the airlines to report a 66.6% QoQ growth in December quarter sales and 76.2% QoQ growth in EBITDAR. The brokerage firm expects SpiceJet to report revenue de-growth of 52% YoY but yields to grow 8%.
