JSW Steel has purchased a 30.5 acres land parcel at Pen in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. The transaction value for the purchase of the land parcel is Rs 23. 22 cr. A stamp duty of Rs 1.39 cr has been paid by the buyer for the purchase of the land parcel. As per a report, nearly 700 acres of land worth over $1.1 billion have been purchased between January & June 2022 across eight cities.

According to sources, Amazon Web Services has purchased nearly 60 acres of land from Ananta Landmarks, an arm of Kalpataru in the Thane district, near Mumbai, for Rs 1,800 cr. The acquired land parcel will be used for establishing a data centre facility. The land parcel is located in prime land situated in Thane city & surrounded by residential complexes, & malls and is close to Bhiwandi Road.

The Decentralized Engineering Corporation (DEC), which developed ride-sharing app Teleport, has raised $9 million in seed funding. The project is build on Solana. The proceeds will be used to further grow Teleport, which is powered by DEC’s TRIP protocol. The seed round is co-led by Foundation Capital and Road Capital. Several prominent angel investors participated in the round.

Tata Chemicals' consolidated net profit surges nearly three-fold to Rs 628 crore for the September 2022 quarter on higher income. Rajesh Uppalapati has been appointed as the chief technology officer of online fashion retailer Nykaa. Uppalapati will take charge from November 1. He will succeed Nykaa's incumbent CTO Sanjay Suri.
