Ola Cabs IPO: Ride-hailing aggregator Ola Cabs aims to secure $500 million through its initial public offering (IPO), targeting a valuation of approximately $5 billion, news agency Reuters reported on Friday. As stated by sources in the report, Ola plans to submit its IPO papers for approval to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) within the next three months.

Private sector HDFC Bank’s numbers for the January-March quarter of financial year 2023-24 were broadly in line with the expectations, analysts said, adding the falling net interest margin (NIM) remains a concern. HDFC Bank’s board of directors, on April 20, approved the annual renewal of long-term bonds and perpetual debt instruments up to Rs 60,000 crore in the next 12 months. The private lender’s board met on April 20 to declare the results for the quarter ended in March 2024. HDFC Bank’s net profit gained 0.84 percent from the previous quarter to Rs 16,511 crore.

The country's largest private sector lender, HDFC Bank Ltd on April 20 said the credit environment in the Indian economy remains healthy and the bank's credit performance across all segments continues to remain healthy. Total advances of the bank, during the fiscal year 204, rose to Rs 25 lakh crores, showing a jump of 55.4 percent from the year-ago period.
