The BMC has offered to hand over 5 acres of the 18-acre octroi naka land in Mulund for the Dharavi Redevelopment Project, despite BJP politicians opposing the relocation of Dharavi residents to Mulund. The project is estimated to cost Rs 2 lakh crore, with plans to provide rental housing to 3-4 lakh ineligible Dharavi residents.

Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) infused $3.18 billion into Indian equities in June 2024, reversing the outflows of $3.06 billion in May. The net buying was driven by the BFSI, Telecom, Consumer Services, and Healthcare sectors. The total Assets Under Custody (AUC) scaled a new peak of $856 billion, with BFSI dominating the AUC stakes at $246.24 billion.
