ndian airline SpiceJet‘s shares were recovering after they went down over 5% during early trade on Tuesday, after the company kicked off its qualified institutional placement to raise up to ₹3,000 crore. What Happened: The cash-strapped carrier approved and authorised the opening of the issue on Monday, the company said in a press release. The floor price of the QIP was fixed at ₹64.79 per share.

Small-cap stock Krishival Foods jumped over 4 per cent in intraday trade on NSE on Tuesday, September 17, a day after the company announced it acquired a 52.94 per cent stake in Melt ‘N’ Mellow Foods Private Limited. Krishival Foods share price opened at ₹312 against its previous close of ₹302.45 and rose 4.2 per cent to the level of ₹315.
