JSW Energy, a key player in the private power sector and part of the JSW Group, saw its consolidated net profit jump by 22.4 percent in March quarter on an annual basis, driven by strong performances from its thermal energy portfolio and merchant sales.Profit rose to Rs 345.27 crore in the three months ended March 31, 2024, the Sajjan Jindal-led company said in a BSE filing on May 7.

The National Company Law Tribunal’s Mumbai bench has approved the merger of Mahindra Heavy Engines (MHEL), Mahindra Two Wheelers (MTWL), and Trringo.com (TCL) with Mahindra and Mahindra Limited, said M&M Ltd in a statement on May 7. NCLT pronounced the order for the case on Tuesday, which was last heard on April 5 this year.
