House prices in South Korea have been falling since June, 2023, as high interest rates weighed on demand, and worries about debt repayments at construction firms have grown.

SBI reported a good quarter; while NIM was in-line, core PPoP was materially higher due to lower staff cost as provision on wage revision was much lower at Rs 7bn (guidance Rs 54bn). One-time wage provision included in employee expenses for FY24 was Rs 134bn and staff cost for FY25 could normalize to Rs 638bn.
