SpiceJet launches share sale to raise up to ₹3,000 crore

Aviation carrier SpiceJet Ltd. has launched a Qualified Institutional Placement whereby it aims to raise funds by selling shares to eligible institutional participants. SpiceJet aims to raise up to ₹3,000 crore through the QIP, where the base size of the issue is said to be ₹1,500 crore, with a green shoe option of another ₹1,500 crore, sources with knowledge of the matter told CNBC-TV18.
