Sensex and Nifty showed signs of recovery, but traded flat, with Sensex dropping 102 points (0.13%) to 79,894 and Nifty losing 39 points (0.16%) to 24,841. The market saw 1490 advancing shares, 2000 declining shares, and 102 unchanged shares. HUL, ITC, and Nestle were top gainers, while Titan Company and JSW Steel were top losers. The BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices declined by 0.21% and 0.18%.
