FTX will have between $14.5 bn to $16.3 bn to pay its creditors and customers, according to an amended reorganization plan filed by it on Tuesday in a U.S. bankruptcy court. FTX said it has anticipated the figure based on monetizing assets, most of which were investments owned by Alameda Research, a crypto-focused HF controlled Sam Bankman-Fried, FTX Ventures businesses, and litigation claims.

Mumbai: India's Volatility Index, or VIX, a fear gauge of the stock market, surged to a 14-month high fuelled by growing expectations of sharp swings in equities in the run-up to the outcome of the general elections early in June. The index, which gained 2.7% on Tuesday to close at 17.05, has gained over 35% in the previous five sessions.
