Nifty futures were trading higher by 44.5 points or 0.24 per cent at 18,869 on the Singapore Exchange. The early barometer of India's benchmark Nifty 50 index signals that Dalal Street was headed for a positive start today. Asian shares also gained during early deals as investors hoped steps to unwind pandemic restrictions in China would eventually boost global growth's outlook.
