Seafood exports climbed to a record high of $7.74 billion in FY22, registering a growth of 30% over FY21. The previous highest export was $7.08 billion, attained in 2017-18. According to the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) latest data, exports achievement stood at 99.12% of the target of $7.80 billion set for the year, despite COVID-related restrictions.
