SAIL to invest ₹6,500 crore towards capex in FY 25, says CMD A. Prakash

SAIL will invest ₹6,500 crore in capital expenditure (capex) in the current financial year as part of its ₹1 lakh crore investment plan over the next few years. The capex will be used for maintaining facilities, debottlenecking exercises, and expansion plans, with a target to increase capacity from 20 million tonne to 35 million tonne per annum by 2031 and 50 million tonne in the next phase.

Info Edge shares were in focus on July 8. The company, said its standalone billings for the April to June 2024 quarter rose 10.8% higher yoy to ₹579.4 crore, which is still lower than Bloomberg’s estimates of ₹623 cr. Despite the growth, global brokerage firm UBS has a neutral call on the Info Edge stock with a target price of ₹6,055, implying a potential downside of nearly 11%.
