PFC has sought legal advice on approval for a ₹15,000 crore loan to the Shapoorji Pallonji (SP) Group's promoters, partly against their 18.37% shareholding in Tata Sons. The promoters, the Mistry family, had approached the lender earlier this year with a proposal for funds against cash flows from the group's real estate business and the Tata Sons holding, said people with knowledge of the matter.
