Ashok Leyland shares surged four percent to Rs 200 to reach an all-time high on May 2 after the company's combined sales of M&HCV and LCV units (including exports) amounted to 14,271 units, marking a 10 percent increase from the same period last year. M&HCV and LCV are medium, heavy and light commercial vehicles.

Shares of Power Grid Corporation of India (NSE: POWERGRID) jumped 5% to hit an all-time high price of ₹317.25 in intra-day trade, extending gains for the third straight session. The stock has risen ₹25, or 8.6%, in these three sessions aided by recent price target revision and positive commentary from a foreign brokerage.
