Pipeline Infrastructure Limited (PIL) inked a deal with state-owned GAIL to jointly develop a hydrogen-based ecosystem in India. The MoU aims to collectively explore the feasibility, desirability and viability of hydrogen as a source of energy and thus build a partnership between the companies. Notably, PIL is owned by India Infrastructure Trust, which is in turn sponsored by Brookfield.
