The Pension Fund Regulatory & Development Authority (PFRDA) asserted that nomination rules to be followed post the death of an NPS or National Pension System subscriber. According to the circular, the Nomination can be made only by the subscriber. However, special provisions are there to protect the interest of the subscriber as per exit regulations for treating the nomination.
