Indian equities end in red on profit booking, bulls look for fresh triggers After a long rally, both the Sensex and Nifty ended in the red, and there was selling in auto, private banking, capital goods, IT and realty sectors. The Sensex ended the session at 71,892 points, down 0.53 percent. The Nifty dropped 0.35 percent. The decline for both the gauges was the sharpest since December 20.
