MCA postpones statutory filing deadline, set longer gap between board meets

Tyre manufacturer MRF Ltd. has announced a final dividend of ₹194 per share post its March quarter results, making it the highest ever payout the company has announced post its quarterly results. The company had already declared two interim dividends of ₹3 each in the financial year 2024. This has taken the total payout for the full financial year to ₹200 per share or 2,000% for shares.

India is the fourth-largest market for US hospitality chain Marriott and the effort is to bring it into the top three, a top official of the company said on May 3.The company, which has opened its 150th hotel in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir, has a target of 250 hotels including hotels which will be opened as well as those in the pipeline by 2025.
