Reported Standalone quarterly numbers for Foods and Inns are: Net Sales at Rs 339.87 crore in March 2024 up 3.63% from Rs. 327.97 crore in March 2023. Quarterly Net Profit at Rs. 5.14 crore in March 2024 down 65.21% from Rs. 14.77 crore in March 2023. EBITDA stands at Rs. 40.22 crore in March 2024 up 18.36% from Rs. 33.98 crore in March 2023.

Oil prices extended gains on Monday amid political uncertainty in major producing countries after Iran's president died in a helicopter crash and Saudi Arabia's crown prince cancelled a trip to Japan, citing issues with the king's health. Brent gained 41 cents, or 0.5%, to $84.39 a barrel by 0632 GMT, after rising to $84.43 earlier, its highest since May 10.

India Cements’ net loss narrowed to Rs 29 crore in the quarter ended March 31, compared to a loss of Rs 218 crore in the year-ago period, according to an exchange filing issued by the company on May 20. However, the company's net loss widened sequentially when compared to a loss of Rs 16.51 crore in the December quarter.
