LIC Housing hits 10% lower circuit after disappointing Q2 performance

Being a shareholder of Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) hasn't been easy over the last year. The stock has risen 5% since last May, which is abnormal for a company that regularly outperforms the S&P 500 (which grew 25% in the same period).Spikes in inflation in 2023 caused reductions in consumer spending, leading Apple to post four consecutive quarters of revenue declines.

The electric vehicle (EV) industry has lost some steam in 2024, especially in the U.S. High sticker prices and high interest rates have throttled growth to just 10% so far this year, especially as Tesla has had some missteps. Europe and China (the latter being far and away the largest market for EVs), however, have continued to chug higher by 21% and 32%, respectively.
