Kotak MD, CEO Ashok V. guides for a hit of up to Rs 400 cr from RBI curbs

Ashok Vaswani, MD and CEO of Kotak Mahindra Bank (KMB), said the "back-of-the-envelope" impact on the bank's profitability on account of the restrictions placed by RBI could be ₹300 crore to ₹400 crore. Speaking with the analysts on Saturday within hours of declaring the fourth quarter results, he also indicated that the bank would continue to be prudent and not get aggressive on credit growth.
