ITC shares rise on ITC Infotech deal to buy Pune-based IT firm

Shares of ITC Ltd traded marginally higher in the opening hours on April 19 after ITC Infotech announced to buy 100 percent stake in a Pune-based IT firm. At 9:31am, ITC was quoting Rs 421.50, up Rs 2.55, or 0.61 percent, on the BSE. ITC Infotech India Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ITC, has entered into a share purchase agreement for acquisition of 100 percent of the share capital.
