General Catalyst to invest $5 billion in India over five years

General Catalyst, a $8 billion global fund, will invest $5 billion in India, the world's third-largest startup ecosystem. This is the largest dedicated venture capital commitment to India ever made. General Catalyst believes in India's potential due to its innovators solving global problems with AI, a young talent workforce, and trade deals with the US and Europe, and will be led by Neeraj Arora.
