Sony and Honda Motor decided on an equally owned joint venture that will commence selling electric cars in 2025. The Japanese auto giant, that rolls out EV models including Honda e, has said it is aiming to launch 30 EV models and make some 2 million EVs annually by 2030. In the JV, Honda will implement its expertise in developing and selling cars and Sony will add its software and technology.
