Bajaj Consumer on Wednesday announced a ₹166.5 crore buyback of up to 57.41 lakh equity shares through a tender offer at a price of ₹290 — a premium of 11% — against today's closing price of ₹260. The board has approved a buyback of up to 57,41,000 equity shares of the company, representing 4.02% of the total number of equity shares, which will be brought back from the equity shareholders.

Tata Power Company Ltd on Wednesday (May 8) reported a 32.7% year-on-year (YoY) jump in net profit at ₹1,537 crore for the fourth quarter that ended March 31, 2024. In the corresponding quarter, Tata Power Company posted a net profit of ₹1,158.1 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing. The company's revenue from operations increased 27.2% to ₹15,846.6 crore as against ₹12,453.8 crore.
