There has been a significant increase of 86 percent in hiring within the construction and real estate sector between March 2023 and 2024, according to the data provided by job portal Indeed.This surge in demand has also been accompanied by a 57 percent rise in the interest of job seekers, with Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai being the leading cities.

India's services exports could climb to $900 billion, or about 12.4 percent of its GDP, by 2030, driven by the emergence of Global Capability Centres (GCCs), Goldman Sachs said in what it called a "favourable scenario" of the economy. In such a scenario, the current account deficit could improve to average around 0.6 percentage of GDP over the medium term, it said.

Logistics service provider Delhivery has launched its second all-women's hub in Sikar, Rajasthan. This follows the Moga facility in Punjab, which was transformed into a 100 percent women-managed centre in March this year.At Sikar, women will be responsible for all the functions, including administration, operations, and security, Delhivery said in a statement.
