Corporate affairs ministry asks to speed up inspection report on Byju's

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has asked its probe team for faster submission of the inspection report on Byju’s, which is running three months beyond schedule, a senior government official said. “The ministry of Corporate Affairs has asked to expedite submission of inspection report on Byju’s. It is already 2-3 months overdue,” the official confirmed to Moneycontrol.

Adhesive and construction chemicals manufacturer Pidilite Industries Ltd on Tuesday (May 7) reported a 6.4% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit at ₹304.3 crore for the fourth quarter that ended March 31, 2024. In the corresponding quarter, Pidilite Industries posted a net profit of ₹285.9 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing. CNBC-TV18 poll had predicted a profit of ₹415 crore.
