Bombay HC discards plea to prevent Yes Bank from voting at Dish TV meeting

A dedicated panel of the Bombay High Court has rejected an appeal by a promoter entity that was looking to prevent Yes Bank, which has the largest shareholder in Dish TV with a 25.63% stake, from voting at Dish TV’s extraordinary general meeting. This has made it easier for Yes Bank to vote in the satellite TV broadcaster’s meeting. Further, the e-voting for the resolutions has already started.
