Boeing agrees to plead guilty in 737 MAX criminal case

Boeing agreed to plead guilty to misleading air-safety regulators, a felony offense. The aerospace giant will face significant financial penalties, including a $244 million criminal monetary penalty, $1.77 billion in compensation to airline customers, and a $500 million crash-victim beneficiaries fund. The plea deal resolves a criminal charge related to the 737 MAX crashes that killed 346 people.
