Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) on Thursday reported a net profit of ₹2,038 crore in the fourth quarter of FY24, registering a growth of 32% from ₹1,549 crore in the year-ago period.The auto major’s revenue in Q4FY24 increased to ₹25,109 crore. At 2 pm on May 16, M&M's shares were trading 0.3% lower at Rs 2,294.65 apiece. Mahindra sold 27.2% more SUVs in the quarter from a year earlier.

ICICI Securitie's research report on HPCL: Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) reported recurring standalone EBITDA/PAT of INR 48bn/INR 28.4bn in Q4FY24, implying EBITDA was flat YoY/ PAT declined 11.8%. FY24 EBITDA/PAT of INR 238.5bn/INR 139.5bn (vs. EBITDA loss of INR 131bn/net loss of INR 146bn), however, reflects significantly better refining/marketing performance in FY24.
